Funding & Cost Overview

• Levy Payers - If your business has an annual payroll over £3 million, the programme is mostly funded through your Apprenticeship Levy pot, meaning minimal cost to you.

• Non-Levy Payers (SMEs) - If your annual payroll is under £3 million, the government funds 95% of the cost, so you pay only 5% — typically £550 to £750 per learner, depending on programme length.

• Example: A £15,000 programme would cost your business just £750 total, with the government covering £14,250.

Funding Eligibility Criteria

You may qualify if you are a UK-registered business or charity with employees paid via PAYE,

supporting at least one learner aged 16+ who works 50% of their time in the UK. Supersonic Startup handles all eligibility checks and funding applications for you.
